Paula J. Cushing – age 77, beloved wife of Richard E. Cushing died peacefully Monday, August 25 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Malden, November 20, 1947, a daughter of the late Harry and Jean (Surette) King and was raised in Malden and lived in Burlington and Dracut before moving to Billerica in 1976.
Paula was a Cashier having worked at the Quick Stop and the Mobil Mart in Billerica.
Besides her husband, Jean is survived by her daughters, Lori Murnane of Leominster and Lisa Almquist of TX; her son, Richard Cushing Jr. of VA; her brothers, Duane King of Billerica and Dale King of Brockton; her sister, Laurel King of CA and her eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Teri Almquist.
Paula’s funeral arrangements will be private, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the MSPCA.
