Obituary for Paul M Walsh
BILLERICA – Paul M. Walsh, age 66, beloved husband of Robin A. (Ratta) Walsh died Wednesday at their home.
He was born in Cambridge, November 19, 1949 a son of the late Thomas P. and Esther (Ahearn) Walsh and was a lifelong Billerica resident.
Mr. Walsh served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked for the Town of Billerica DPW for 33 years most recently in the Water Division retiring five years ago.
In his free time Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding his motorcycles, operating his remote control airplane and will be remembered for being an all around handyman who was able to fix anything.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Joseph Walsh and his wife Terri of Sandown, NH and David Walsh and his wife Jill of Groton; one brother, Thomas Walsh and his wife Veronica of Quincy; three sisters Ruth Sullivan and her husband William of Dracut, Mary McElhinney and her husband Joseph of Woburn and Jean Muise and her husband Brian of Fitchburg as well as six grandchildren. He was the father of the late Melissa Jones.
WALSH – Of Billerica, July 13, Paul M. Walsh. A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday at the VFW Solomon Post, 12 Phiney St., Billerica, from 2 – 6 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. It being his wish, a private graveside service was held at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica
