
Paul M. Sullivan – age 88, husband of the late Marguerite L. (Selvitella) Sullivan died peacefully Monday, May 26 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington after a brief illness.
He was born in Boston, June 12, 1936, a son of the late John and Mary (Quinn) Sullivan. He was raised in Boston and moved to Billerica in 1962.
After graduating high school, Paul joined the Air Force and was stationed in California. He served for four years then taught himself how to be a bookkeeper and worked in Boston all of his adult life prior to retirement.
He is survived by his son, Paul Sullivan Jr. of Billerica; his daughters, Marguerite Sullivan of Dorchester, Maureen Sullivan and her husband Rick Petrino of Salem, Jennifer Sullivan of Stoneham and Michele Sullivan of Tewksbury. He was the brother of the late John Sullivan, Joseph Sullivan, Ann Maddon, Eileen Tansey and Mary White.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, May 29 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Irene Church, 181 East St., Carlisle at 11 a.m. Paul’s burial with military honors will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in E.
