Obituary for Paul L. Nerney
Paul L. Nerney – Age 70, beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Kelley) Nerney died Wednesday at their home surrounded by his family. He was born in Lawrence, January 23, 1942, the son of the late James F. and Catherine (Murphy) Nerney and lived in Lawrence and N. Andover before moving to Bedford in 1972. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Nerney worked for RCA in Burlington for 29 years prior to his retirement. Besides his wife, Mr. Nerney is survived by his sons, Paul Nerney Jr. and his wife Carol of Manchester, NH and Matthew Nerney of Bedford; his daughter, Cindy Donovan and her husband John of Billerica; his brother, Michael Nerney of Dover, NH; his sister, Mary Gravel of N. Andover and his grandchild, Tristan Nerney. He was the brother of the late Jay Nerney and Geni Carrien. NERNEY – Of Bedford, Oct. 3, Paul L. Nerney, Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Middlesex East and Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Wakefield, MA 01880. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
