
Obituary for Paul D. Mahoney Sr.
Paul D. Mahoney Sr. – Age 81, husband of the late Marianne L. (Hutchinson) Mahoney died Tuesday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington after a short illness.
He was born in E. Boston, December 5, 1939, a son of the late Timothy J. and Julia M. (Murphy) Mahoney and was raised in E. Boston, before moving to Billerica and then Tewksbury 28 years ago.
Paul was employed as a Truck Driver for Transgas in Lowell for over 20 years prior to his retirement and was a member of Local #25. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Mahoney of Nashua, NH and Tammie Isaacman of Haverhill; his brother, William Mahoney of Winthrop; his sister, Margaret Clemans of Billerica and his grandchildren, Crystal Mahoney, Benjamin, Nicholas and Sean Isaacman. He was the brother of the late Moe Mahoney and Mary Lally.
Paul’s funeral will be held Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
