Obituary for Patricia McInerney
BILLERICA – Patricia A. “Pat” (Maloney) McInerney, age 78, beloved wife of 55 years of Edward McInerney, died Tuesday after a brief illness. She was born in Medford, Sept. 19, 1935 a daughter of the late Michael F. and Alice (Gilbert) Maloney and lived in North Cambridge before moving to Billerica in 1969. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent all of her time with her family especially looking forward to her Saturday lunches with her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Debra Mead and her husband William, Sheila McInerney and John Marsh, Edward McInerney Jr., Karen Shea and her husband Dennis and Angelica McInerney and Michael Collins; one brother, William Maloney; two sisters, Joan Albertelli and Sheila Maloney; ten grandchildren, David, Lauren, Matthew, Kevin, Alicia, Julia, Michelle, Ian, Bill and Christie and her great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Deanna Kirkness and sister of the late Eleanor Burke and John Maloney. Billerica at 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Irene’s Church, Carlisle at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
