Obituary for Patricia M. MacDonald
Patricia M. MacDonald – Age 59, beloved wife of Daniel MacDonald died Tuesday at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brighton, March 27, 1955, the daughter of Barbara (Stacey) Coletti of Largo, FL and the late Ernest Coletti and lived in Stoughton and Everett before moving to Billerica 14 years ago. Prior to her illness, Mrs. MacDonald was employed at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and then at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Professional Services for 15 years. Mrs. MacDonald was a quiet, unassuming and fiercely loyal wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved watching football with Dan (especially the Patriots), Elvis memorabilia and things that represented her Italian heritage. She enjoyed the theater and traveling, especially her trips to Maine and a girl’s weekend to Graceland with her mom and sisters. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her siblings, Jack Coletti of ME, Jeanne Howe and her husband Leo of Berkeley, Lori Matis and her husband Stanley of Holden, Jodi Gambrazzio and her husband David of E. Freetown, Barbara Goularte and her husband Mark of San Ramon, CA, Ernie Coletti and his wife Joanie of Friendship, ME, Bobby Coletti of Largo, FL and Michael Coletti of Auburn, NH. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, many aunts, cousins, friends and coworkers and her loyal companion, Bella. She was the sister of the late Tony Coletti and Linda Ricker. MacDonald – Of Billerica, Jan. 20, Patricia M. (Coletti) MacDonald, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
