Obituary for Patricia L. Bly
Patricia L. Bly, age 97, wife of the late Gerald D. Bly Sr. died peacefully Thursday at the Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn.

Pat was born in Woburn, November 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Creighton) Leahey and was raised in Woburn and lived in Billerica and Dracut before moving back to Billerica in 2018.

For many years, Pat owned and operated Bly’s Fried Foods in N. Billerica along with her husband and family. She was a Registered Nurse having worked at New England Rehabilitation Hospital for over 30 years and retired at the age of 88.

She was an active communicant of St. Theresa Church in Billerica and was a member of the Woman’s Club and also the Catholic Nurses Association.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bly of Dracut; her sons, Timothy Bly and his wife Joan of Putnam, CT, the late Gerald Bly Jr. and his wife Dana of Woburn and Richard Bly of Dracut. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 12 noon. Face Masks will be required. Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Poor Clare Nuns of Andover, 445 River Rd., Andover, MA 01810. Her burial will take place in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
