Obituary for Owen F. McDonald
BILLERICA - Owen F. "Uncle Hucky" McDonald, beloved husband of Kimberley (Dimes) McDonald died after a long illness on November 11, 2010 at Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, MA surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in Somerville, January 26, 1955 a son of the late Maurice and Lillian McDonald of Lexington and was also a Lexington resident prior to moving to Billerica.

An avid outdoorsman, Owen loved to hunt, fish, and trap. He was a member of the Woburn Sportsman Association and the Concord Rod and Gun Club. He knew where every trout was hiding in any stream or lake in MA or NH and shared this knowledge with everyone. His summers were spent on Millen Pond in Washington, NH - his favorite place on earth. With his great sense of humor, he kept everyone laughing; he brought joy to everyone he knew, but also brought a smile to the face of strangers.

Owen's generosity to others, and his personal ethics were examples for all.

He loved to cook and loved to eat and certainly had the best coffee truck service in the area.

Besides his wife he is survived by one brother Maurice McDonald and his wife Jai of Aurora CO; seven sisters Kathy Glynn and her husband Martin of Carver MA, Pat Valentino and her husband Joe of Billerica, MA, Sheila Coleman and her husband Paul of Centerville MA, Maureen Walsh and her husband Tom of Wilmington MA, Ruth Shannon and her husband Bill of Bayport NY, Eileen Wills of Billerica MA, and Margaret Sargent of Greenville NH ,as well as many loving nieces and nephews, countless friends, and his constant companion his dog Sandy.

He will be greatly missed by all.

MCDONALD - Of Billerica, formerly of Lexington, Nov 11, Owen F. "Uncle Hucky" McDonald. At his request, there will not be any formal services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA of Middlesex East, 607 North Ave. Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880
