Obituary for Orlando Forni
Orlando Forni – Age 79, beloved husband of Licia F. (Firmani) died Thursday at their home surrounded by his family. He was born in Malden, November 18, 1932, the son of the late Luigi and Maria (Marino) Forni and lived in Malden before moving to Billerica in 1970. Mr. Forni served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed as an Account Receivable Supervisor for the former Associated Transport Company before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks. Besides his wife, Mr. Forni is survived by his daughters, Maria Vigneau and Deborah Carrasco of Billerica and his son, Luigi Forni of Chelmsford and four grandchildren, Sabrina and Alicia Belladue and Lauren and Slade Forni. FORNI – Of Billerica, March 1, Orlando Forni, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rosie’s Place, 889 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
