Norman M. “Papa and Big Papa” Nicolson, age 80, beloved husband of Rita J. (Levesque) Nicolson died peacefully Wednesday at their home with his family by his side.
He was born in Cambridge, October 31, 1942 a son of the late Norman and Christina (Hamilton) Nicolson and lived in Belmont and Waltham before moving to Billerica in 1977.
Norman was a Press Forman for Kirkwood Printing in Wilmington and in his spare time enjoyed playing golf, watching all of the Boston sports teams and swimming in his pool.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Kenneth Nicolson and his wife Amy of Billerica; one daughter, Karen Farland and her husband Thomas of Winter Haven, FL; six grandchildren Stephen, Shawn, Brittney, Nicholas, Justin and Ava as well; his two great-granddaughters, Nicole and Brookelyn as well as his beloved dog Benjamin.
Visiting hour will be held Sunday, July 9, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home,
66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1 – 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Monday at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 14 Treble Cove Rd. Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
