Obituary for Norman J. 'Bud' Gallet
BILLERICA - Norman J. "Bud" Gallet, age 59, died Thursday at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Everett, April 10, 1950 son of the late Ovie and Beatrice (Rosenthal) Gallet and was a lifelong Billerica resident.
Mr. Gallet had worked as a school custodian for the Billerica School System from 1973 until 1981, was a Permanent Intermittent Police Officer from 1975-1980 until becoming a fulltime Billerica Police officer in 1980 retiring in 1991.
He is survived by one brother, David Gallet and his wife Elizabeth of AL; his nieces and nephews, Becky, Amy and Kenneth; his dear friend and caregiver Cheryle Ninteau and her husband Dave of Billerica and their children Mike, Chris and Kristen. Thank you to T for his care.
GALLETT - Of Billerica, Sept. 3, Norman J. "Bud" Gallet. A Graveside service will be held Saturday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd. Billerica at 12 noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY, 10163
