Obituary for Nancy J. McCarthy
Nancy J. McCarthy - Age 66, beloved wife of John F. McCarthy died Wednesday at their home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Malden, July 26, 1944, the daughter of the late William T. Dorgan and Anna (Anderson) Dorgan and lived in Malden before moving to Billerica in 1970. She attended Girls Catholic High School in Malden and attended Chandler School for Women.
Mrs. McCarthy was employed as an Administrative Assistant at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and later for the MITRE Corp. for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Church and a former member of the Ladies Sodality.
Besides her husband of 45 years, Mrs. McCarthy was the loving mother of Jack McCarthy of Belchertown, Neil McCarthy and his wife Elizabeth of Townsend and Christine Clark and her husband Joseph of Melrose; her sister, Joan Jacobs and her husband Joseph of SC and was the devoted grandmother of Sean, Edward, William, Aiden, Kaileigh, Lucy and Nolan.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew\'s Church, N. Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
