Obituary for Nancy E. Burdge
Nancy E. Burdge – Age 69, wife of the late Clifford L. Burdge Sr. died unexpectedly Saturday at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was born in Watertown, November 4, 1942, the daughter of the late Simeon and Alice (Belben) Keeping and lived in Lexington before moving to Billerica in 1978. Mrs. Burdge was employed as a Nurse for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for 35 years, having retired in 2001. She devoted her life to helping others first and putting her needs last. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Hobbs and her husband Keith of Tewksbury; her sons, Jeffrey Burdge and his wife Sharyn, her son Jared Cole, and Bryan Burdge and his wife Deborah both of Arlington; her brother, Robert Keeping of FL; her sister, Barbara McKinley of Boston, three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie and Janine Burdge, and eagerly anticipating the birth of her third granddaughter, due this month. She is also survived by a nephew, several nieces, cousins, and two lifelong friends, Sandra Silver of Billerica and Judi Dillman of Concord. BURDGE – Of Billerica, unexpectedly, Dec. 10, Nancy E. (Keeping) Burdge. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:45 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
