Obituary for Muriel E. Hart
BILLERICA – Muriel E. (Boutwell) Hart age 91, wife of the late Albert W. Hart Sr. died Monday at Blaire House in Tewksbury surrounded by her family. She was born in Billerica, July 19, 1921 a daughter of the late Albert Sr. and Eva M. (Rodgers) Boutwell and was a longtime Billerica resident. Mrs. Hart worked at Bath Iron Works in Maine during WW II, was an advocate for Senior Citizens, active in the Gilmanton, NH Senior Center and a longtime member of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family. She especially loved camping with her family in both Amherst, NH and Hermit Island, ME. Fishing was also a passion of hers. She is survived by one son, Albert Hart Jr., and his wife Maureen of Billerica and one daughter, Carol Belben and her husband Bob of Billerica as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Nancy Hart and sister of the late Albert Earl Jr., Roger, Russell, Norman and Richard Boutwell, Harriet Gablinski and Mildred Sawyer. A Funeral Service will be held in the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, 2535 Main St., Tewksbury, MA at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
