Monica M. Russo – age 58, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 16 after a long courageous battle of multiple ailments with her family at her side
She was born in Weymouth, August 16, 1967 a daughter of the late James and Gloria (Kemper) Russo and was raised in Swampscott where she attended and graduated from Swampscott High school in 1986. She lived in Mission Viejo, CA for numerous years and in Billerica for the past 30 years.
She had a love for animals that knew no bounds, at her home in Billerica she had many bird feeders, and a beautiful garden every summer. She would even hand make treats for the birds in the winter and for her many pets over the years.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Lynch of Billerica; her loving companion, Donald Lynch of Billerica, her sister, Laura Faria of Swampscott and her nieces Bethany and Andrea Faria, Megan Fournier, Janelle Labrie and Joanna Long. She was the sister of the late Melody Walsh.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 23 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Monica’s name to the Lowell Humane
