Obituary for Mona P. Burton
Mona P. Burton – Age 74, wife of the late Leroy F. Burton died Wednesday at the Woodbriar of Wilmington. She was born in Arlington, September 17, 1936, the daughter of the late John H. McCarthy and Mary A. (O’Neill) McCarthy and lived in Burlington most of her life before moving to Billerica eight years ago. Mrs. Burton was employed as the Bookkeeper for Mac’s Two Lounge in Billerica for over 30 years. She was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and the VFW Solomon Post. She is survived by her brother, John McCarthy of CT; her niece, Marianne Giordano of FL and her nephews, John McCarthy Jr. of Billerica, Kevin McCarthy of Pepperell, Daniel McCarthy of NH and Brendan McCarthy of FL. BURTON – Of Billerica, Sept. 14, Mona P. (McCarthy) Burton, Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
