Michael R. Couture – age 60, husband of Caroll A. (Roche) Couture, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, at their home, surrounded by his family. After bravely battling a devastating diagnosis, he is at peace and is in the company of his Dad and Brothers who predeceased him.
Michael was born in Lowell, August 12, 1965, a son of the late Roger E. Couture, and has lived in Lowell his entire life. Michael attended St. Joseph's Catholic School Lowell, as well as Bishop Guertin High School, Nashua, NH. Michael graduated from Lowell High School in the class of 1983.
He worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific for many years and has been employed at Viken Technologies in Burlington for the past 11 years.
Besides his wife, Michael is survived by his children, of whom he was extremely proud of; Brian and Sara Couture of Nashua, NH; his sister, Debra (Brian) Kukulski of Dracut and her son, Scott Peterson of Manchester, NH, Vivianne Couture and her husband Yves Besner of Montreal, Canada. Michael had several nieces and nephews locally and in Montreal.
Michael’s funeral arrangements will be private, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Gary Sinise Foundation, www.garysinisefoundation.org
