Michael J. Rayne - Age 61, loving companion to Jean Gilbert died after a long illness Wednesday, April 5 at their home in Milo, ME.
He was born in Boston, February 16, 1962 a son of Barbara A. Rayne (Doran)of Billerica and the late Paul S. Rayne and was raised in Billerica and has been a long time resident of Maine . Michael proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was self-employed as a copier and fax repairman for many years and General Contractor
Michael is also survived by his siblings, Paul Rayne Jr., William Rayne and Joseph Rayne all of Billerica, Brian and Helena Rayne of Burlington, Jeff and Maureen (Rayne) Plum of Billerica and the late Christopher Rayne of Billerica . He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 5 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at VFW Solomon Post, 12 Phinney St. Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Dana-Farber Boston Children’s Cancer Center, www.danafarberbostonchildrens.org
