Obituary for Michael A. Leone
TEWKSBURY - Michael A. Leone, age 85, husband of J. Katherine "Kay" (Poleo) Leone died Saturday at their home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Cambridge, May 18, 1925 a son of the late Joseph and Antonetta (DeNicola) Leone and lived in Carlisle and Burlington before moving to Tewksbury in 1991.
Mr. Leone served in the US Army, was in charge of refueling at Hanscom Air Force Base and later worked for the town of Lexington in the Maintenance Dept. where he drove a special needs school bus, and delivered food and mail to the schools.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Michael Leone and his wife Mary of Kingston, Joseph Leone and his wife Elaine of Ayer, Robert Leone and his wife Gisele of Townsend and David Leone and his wife Allyson of MO; 12 grandchildren, Jeff Leone and his wife Christine, Dan Leone and his wife Melissa, Joanna Kelly and her husband Adam, Jason Leone and his wife Paige, Cara Weisbach and her husband Cody, Nicole Lavoilette and her husband Mark, Danielle, Renee' and Matthew Leone, Nick Leone and his wife Susan, Eric Leone and Brianna Smith and her husband Scott as well as 10 great-grandchildren, John, Emma, Caroline, Ashleigh, Molly, Madison and Jake Leone, Lea Lavoilette, and Derek and Riley Leone. He was also the brother of the late Dominick Leone.

Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. William's Church, Tewksbury at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 3 - 7 p.m. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, N. Tewksbury.
