Obituary for Michael J. Loycano
Michael J. Loycano – Age 52, beloved husband of Ellen M. (Small) Loycano, died Wednesday at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers.
He was born in Lynn, December 10, 1963, a son of John Loycano Jr. and Suzanne J. (Grella) Loycano of Billerica. He was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1981. He later lived in Hampton, NH and Chelmsford before moving back to Billerica.
Mr. Loycano received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Lowell and his MBA – Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix. He worked for Charles P. Blouin Inc., now of Seabrook, NH, for more than thirty years, most recently as CFO. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks #2071 and enjoyed playing tennis, skiing and bowling.
Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Loycano is survived by his son, Christopher Loycano of Billerica; his brother, Gregory Loycano and his wife Karen of Chelmsford; and his niece and nephew, Kayla and Kyle Loycano. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Evelyn Small of Reading; his sister-in-law Tricia Bellia and her husband A.J. of Granger, IN; and his nieces Kate and Molly Bellia of Granger, IN. He will be dearly missed by his many family members and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1- 4 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A private burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
