Obituary for Maurice Giordano Sr.
BILLERICA – Maurice Giordano Sr., age 76, beloved husband of Cecile M. (Trevisone) Giordano died Monday at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Malden, June 23, 1937 a son of the late Maurice and Mary (Lazzaro) Giordano and lived in Malden prior to moving to Billerica 50 years ago. Mr. Giordano was a self employed carpenter and built many homes locally, began a forms business and was an avid gardener who also enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Michael Giordano and his wife Maryann, Stephen Giordano and his wife Patricia and Maurice Giordano Jr. and his wife Laura all of Billerica; one daughter, Corinne Delaney and her husband William of Salem, NH; one brother, Joseph Giordano of Peabody; two sisters, Anna Shiner and Theresa Shiner both of Malden. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Albert and Anthony Giordano. GIORDANO – Of Billerica, formerly of Malden, June 10, Maurice Giordano. Visiting hour will be held Thursday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Please meet at church.
