Obituary for Maureen Rahill
Maureen Rahill – beloved wife of Paul Rahill died Tuesday at their home surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle with cancer. Maureen was the daughter of John and Rose (Rafferty) Bonaventure and lived in Pawtucket, RI before moving to Billerica in 1994. She was a graduate of Tolman High School Class of 1981 and graduated from Rhode Island College. Mrs. Rahill was a teacher at Nashoba Valley Technical High School for over ten years and most recently at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School as a mathematics teacher. Besides her husband and parents, Maureen is survived by her loving children, Alexandra and John Paul Rahill; her sisters, Mary Angell of Barrington, RI, Rosalyn Bonaventure of Quincy, Martina Fleury of Pawtucket, RI., and her brother John Bonaventure of Harleysville, PA.; She is also survived by her twenty year marriage family, consisting of Beth and Gary Reis, John and Lori Rahill, Virginia and the late Jack Rahill; many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. RAHILL – Of Billerica, March 13, Maureen (Bonaventure) Rahill, Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute In memory of Maureen Rahill, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
