Obituary for Mary T. Goucher
Mary T. Goucher – Age 94, wife of the late Francis “Whitey” Goucher died peacefully Tuesday, June 21 at the Brooksville Healthcare Center in Florida.
She was born in Cambridge, September 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Tamulynas) Robinson and lived in Billerica for many years before moving to Spring Hill, Florida 19 years ago.
Mary loved her bingo nights with her sisters and friends, and spent countless hours coloring, reading, watching movies and going on adventures with her grandkids and great grandkids. Mary was also a member of the Billerica Emblem Club for more than forty years.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Curtis and her husband Dan of Spring Hill, FL and Linda Re of Leominster; her son, Jackie Goucher and his wife Connie of Spring Hill , FL; her sister, Frances Hatfield of Mendon; mother-in-law of Christine Goucher; her 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren and her dear friends, Cathy and Jim O’Connell of Billerica. She was the mother of the late Frank Goucher and Evelyn Goucher and mother-in-law of the late Joseph Re.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Andrew Church at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. Her burial will take place in the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
