Mary M. (Doherty) Adams, 85, of Chelmsford and formerly a longtime resident of North Billerica, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, December 15, 2022 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, Chelmsford. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Adams Jr. who passed away in 2020.
She was born in Malden, MA on May 11, 1937 the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (McGonagle) Doherty.
For many years, Mrs. Adams was employed in the human resources department at BAE Systems.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Kim Tamok and her husband Alex of Francestown, NH, one sister, Eileen Magnant of Tynsboro, MA, two grandchildren, Steele Tamok and Elijah Tamok, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At her request, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are by the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd. Billerica, 01821.
