Mary L. Burke – age 93, wife of the late Edmund Burke Jr. died peacefully Saturday, June 21, at her home.
She was born in Washington D.C. December 26, 1931 a daughter of the late John and Marie (Schmitt) Weber and was raised in Washington and moved to Billerica 70 years ago.
Mary worked at the Grants in Billerica and later worked for Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Buckland and her husband Leonard of Chelmsford and Darlene Burke and her late husband William of Billerica; her son, Daniel Burke and his wife Linda of Billerica and is also survived by her four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Billerica from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
