Obituary for Mary J. Sarno
Mary J. Sarno – Age 85, wife of the late Frank R. Sarno died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home. She was born in Arlington, MA on October 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Phillip and Amelia (Bona) Brillante and was raised in Arlington before moving to Billerica 59 years ago. Mrs. Sarno was once employed as a Chef at the former Boston Harbor Tennis Club. She was a communicant of St. Malachy Parish in Burlington and a former member of St. Mary’s Sodality and the Daughters of Italy. Mrs. Sarno is survived by her daughters, Dona-Maria Dean and her husband Jeffrey of Billerica and Deborah Cieslik of Dracut; her sons, Daniel Sarno and his wife Toni of Palm Coast, FL and Dale Sarno of Nashua, NH; her brother, Orlando Brillante of FL and Carlo Brillante of TN; her sisters, Theresa Conte of MA, Jean Moore of FL and Franka Ainsworth of ME. Mrs. Sarno was the sister of the late Tony, Alfonso, Louis, George and John Brillante. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. SARNO – Of Billerica, Feb. 28, 2012 Mary J. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Malachy Parish, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
