She loved to vacation in New Hampshire “Birch Lane”, and also York Beach and Ogunquit, Maine. She absolutely loved the ocean. Gerry was a wonderful person with a “Big Heart” and even “Bigger Soul.” Besides her husband she is survived by one son; Gerald T. “Jerry” O’Brien and his fiancée Jeannie Collins of Tewksbury; her daughters, Charlene O’Brien of Billerica, Michelle Mercuri and Lucille Beland both of Methuen and Joanna Matterazzo of Pelham, NH; one brother, Charles Kerr of Fl; her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany and Geoffrey O’Brien, Misty and Billy Anaya, Julianna and Corey Perez, and Emily Rose Beland; and her great-grandson Xavior Ashmore, and several nieces, nephews, brothers and sister in-law.
