
Mary E. Dyer, age 58, beloved daughter of Joan (Ryan) Dyer and the late William H. Dyer died Saturday at Lowell General Hospital after a lifelong battle with cancer.
She was born in Chelsea, May 16, 1965, and was a lifelong Billerica resident graduating from Billerica Memorial High School in 1983.
Mary was employed as a Lab Technician for Lowell General hospital and in her free time she enjoyed watching the Red Sox, bowling at the Woburn Bowladrome, flowers and gardening and traveling to Nova Scotia to visit relatives.
She was a member of St. Theresa Church in Billerica where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 12 years.
Besides her mother she is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Dyer of Billerica and William Dyer Jr. of Wilmington; her niece Mary Alice and her husband Ryan Shea and her mother Cheryl Gendreau; her aunts, Elizabeth Jones of Nova Scotia, Helen Cravatta of Salem, MA and Patricia Kass of Bourne, MA as well as many cousins in both the US and Nova Scotia.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb 15, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
