Obituary for Mary E. Mazzone
Mary E. Mazzone – Age 90, wife of the late Joseph N. Mazzone died Tuesday at the Sunny Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chelmsford.
Mrs. Mazzone was born in Newton, January 26, 1927, a daughter of the late John T. and Mary E. (Meehan) McNamara. She lived in Billerica for many years before moving to Skowhegan, Maine and moved back to Billerica eight years ago.
Mrs. Mazzone was employed at BASF in Bedford prior to her retirement. Mary loved to sing and she had a wonderful voice. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Mary also was a big fan of the Patriots and would never miss a game.
Mary is preceded in death by her infant son Joseph, her late husband Joseph, her sister Marjorie and brother Jack.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Morrell of Manchester, NH; her sons, Jeff Mazzone and his wife Janette of Billerica and Tim Mazzone also of Billerica; six grandchildren, Charles, Misty and her husband Andre, Mallory, Melissa, Nicholas and Jessica and four great grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Alexis and Andre.
MAZZONE – Of Billerica, March 14, Mary E. (McNamara) Mazzone, Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, ME.
