Obituary for Mary "Betty" E. Riddle
Mary “Betty” E. Riddle – Age 81, wife of the late Edward Riddle died Wednesday at the Blaire House in Tewksbury surrounded by her family.
She was born in Cambridge, December 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Chester and Helen (Broughall) Cotter and was raised in Cambridge before moving to Billerica 55 years ago.
Mrs. Riddle was a member of the Billerica Irish American Club.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Riddle Jr. and his wife Lorraine and Scott Riddle and his wife Kristie of Billerica; her daughters, Karen Heffernan and her husband Peter of Billerica, Linda Persi and her husband Rick of CA and Mary Yandow and her husband Andy of Billerica; her sister, Pat Wallin of Billerica; her son-in-law, John Hurley; 11 grandchildren, Kerry Heffernan, Kevin Jones, Kim Jones, Joslyn Persi, Patrick Hurley, Sean Hurley, Patrick Persi, Lauren Riddle, Daniel Hurley, Amanda Riddle and Michael Riddle. She was the mother of the late Carol Hurley and sister of the late Bob, James, Richard, Arthur and Edward Cotter, Rose Brennan and Sally Abreau.
RIDDLE – Of Billerica, Dec. 9, Mary E. (Cotter) Riddle, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
