Obituary for Mary A. Woodworth
TEWKSBURY – Mary A. (Barry) Woodworth, age 79, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Woodworth died unexpectedly Saturday at Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus.
She was born in Boston a daughter of the late Walter J. and Helen (Martin) Barry and lived in Mansfield before moving to Tewksbury in 1973.
Mrs. Woodworth graduated from Saint Joseph Academy in Roxbury Massachusetts. She was employed by Royal Dynasty in Wilmington for many years.
She is survived by one son, David Woodworth of Tewksbury; three daughters Maryann Riley, Roberta Woodworth and Kathleen Woodworth all of lowell as well as eight grandchildren.
Robert Woodworth, David Woodworth, Sarah Woodworth and Amber Woodworth of Tewksbury; Carisa Castro, Shawn Castro, Madison Woodworth-Lombardo and Preston Smith all of Lowell; and siblings: Walter Barry (deceased), Virginia Barry, Robert Barry, Helen Barry, Kathleen Capone (deceased), Barbara Neelon and Alice Keefe.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St. in Tewksbury at 1 p.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 – 12:30 prior to the Mass. Burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
