Mary A. (Bevivino) Forbes, age 77, beloved wife of Frederick “Ted” M. Forbes died unexpectedly Sunday, May 21, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Clinton, NY, the daughter of the late Vito and Victoria (Bilotta) Bevivino and has been a Billerica resident since 1976.
Mary was a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in education and went on to receive her Master Degree from Fitchburg State. She was a teacher at Norwood Public Schools for over 30 years and in her spare time and retirement enjoyed being with her husband and friends at their home in Conway New Hampshire.
Besides her husband she is survived by her aunt, Anna Murphy of Norwood; uncle, Frank Bilotta of San Diego, CA; brother, Charles Bevivino of Walpole and sister in law, Susan Katsekas of Windham, NH. She is predeceased by her sister in law, Cynthia Bevivino, brother in law, James Katsekas, sister in law, Deborah White and brother in law, Donald White.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Interment in Salisbury Plains Burying Ground, Amesbury.
