Obituary for Martha C. Kingsbury
BILLERICA – Martha C. Kingsbury, age 74, died Wednesday at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was born in Greenfield, MA, May 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Ernest and Velma Benoit and lived in Waltham before moving to Billerica 52 years ago. Martha was an RN at the Locke Middle School in Billerica and more recently worked at McLean Hospital in Belmont from 1987 until her retirement in 2003. She was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Church in Billerica, a former parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Billerica and had volunteered at St. Joseph’s Shrine in Lowell. She is survived by four sons, James Farmer III and his wife Judi of Billerica, Michael Farmer and his wife Shanon of Keller, TX, Christopher Farmer and his wife Tara of Billerica and Thomas Farmer and his wife Karen of Chandler, AZ as well as 10 grandchildren. She was the brother of the late William Benoit. KINGSBURY – Of Billerica, formerly of Waltham, Aug. 22, Martha C. Kingsbury. Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew’s Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
