Obituary for Mark E. Brien
Mark E. Brien, age 46, devoted longtime companion of Marsha Cheli died unexpectedly Monday. He was born in Stoneham November 2, 1965, a son of Patrick B. Jr. and Kathleen M. (Dolan) Brien and was a longtime Billerica resident prior to moving to NH 15 years ago. Mr. Brien was a graduate of BMHS class of 1983 and earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from MCC in 1986 and was a Maintenance Engineer for the Marriot Corp. In his free time he enjoyed biking, walking, weight lifting, music, playing his Guitar and listening to Elvis. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, and his companions’ daughter Nicole as well as his much loved pet Lily. Mark was a history buff who also enjoyed political debates. Besides his parents and companion he is survived by two brothers, Patrick S. Brien of Billerica and Matthew Brien and his wife Melissa of Nashua; two sisters, Bernadette Jencks and her husband Kenneth and Elizabeth Grenon both of Nashua as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
