
Mark B. Crosbie – age 74, beloved husband of Judy A. (Strickland) Crosbie died Wednesday, January 31 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
He was born in Cambridge, July 30, 1949, a son of the late Robert B. and Muriel F. (Grimshaw) Crosbie and was raised in Medford before moving to Billerica 35 years ago. Mark proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mark started his career at the Stoneham Zoo where he also met his wife and love of 46 years, Judy. He was later employed at the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, where he worked as a Forman until his retirement. But his favorite role was being a proud father, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and making everyone laugh. He lived a blessed life.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Hodgkins of Dexter, MI, Diana Rosina of Tyngsboro, MA and Blair Crosbie of Austin, TX and is also survived by his four grandchildren, Liam Hodgkins, Lucas Hodgkins, Isabella Rosina and Noah Rosina.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford at 11 A.M.
