Obituary for Marjorie E. Rainge
Marjorie E. Rainge – Age 87, died Wednesday at the D’Youville Senior Care Center in Lowell. She was born in Medford, December 31, 1924, the daughter of the late Hugh R. and Olive M. (Tinker) Rainge and lived in Burlington before moving to Billerica in 1993. Miss. Rainge was employed as an Art Teacher for the Wakefield High School for over 30 years prior to her retirement. She was an active communicant of St. Theresa Church in Billerica and was a member of the Secular Order of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Teresa of Jesus. Miss Rainge is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Rainge of Chelmsford and her husband the late Hugh R. Rainge Jr.; her sister, Marcia Burbank of ME; her nieces, Elisabeth Rainge of Wayland and Kristine Gatesman of Acton and is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. Rainge, Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marjorie Rainge Fund, c/o C.S.F. of Wakefield, Wakefield, MA 01880. Burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
