Obituary for Marion V. Egan
Marion V. Egan – Age 98, wife of the late William F. Egan died Monday at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus surrounded by her family. She was born in Ayer, February 14, 1914, the daughter of the late Patrick McGuane and Bridget (Grealis) McGuane. She was raised in Ayer and later traveled with her husband who was in the military before settling in Billerica in 1947. Mrs. Egan was employed as a Telephone operator while living in Ayer and was a former member of St. Andrew’s Sodality. She is survived by her sons, William Egan and his wife Elizabeth of Billerica and James Egan of Dracut; her daughters, Mary Egan of Lowell, Barbara O’Toole and Kathleen Bridget Egan both of Billerica and Jane Davis and her husband Warren of Tyngsboro. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late James Conway. EGAN – Of Billerica, Sept. 17, Marion V. (McGuane) Egan, Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Church, 45 Talbot Ave., Billerica, MA 01862. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ayer.
