Obituary for Marie A. Brown
BILLERICA – Marie A. (Peters) Brown, age 77, beloved wife of the late Leo E. Brown who passed away, Oct 23, 1998, died Monday at her home with her family by her side from complications following a stroke.
She was born in Reading, October 20, 1939 a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Gallant) Peters and had been a Billerica resident since 1961.
Mrs. Brown worked as a File Clerk for AIM Mutual in Burlington for 15 years, was a communicant of St. Theresa Church in Billerica belonging to St. Theresa Women’s Club and the Billerica Senior Center.
In her spare time she enjoyed walking and vacations but most importantly spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Dupont and her husband Dwayne who were her caregivers and with who she resided, Michael Brown of Billerica and Daniel Brown of Dracut; her grandchildren, Thomas and Philip Labednick of Lowell and Veronica and Leo Brown of Dracut; brothers and sisters, George Peters of Wilmington, Theresa Berard of Lompoc, CA, Reginald Peters and his wife Marilyn of Reading and Rose Brady of Methuen; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pauline Brown of Wakefield, MA; Ann and David Fisher of Bartlesville, OK; Ingrid Brown of Bakersville NC; Robert and Gayle Brown of Plattsburg, MO; James Brown of Wakefield, MA; John and Lorraine Brown of Bartlesville OK; Cathy and Norman Beliveau of Wakefield, MA; Mary and Joseph Zagarella of Melrose, MA; Patricia and David Valdez of Bartlesville, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by Zella and Connie Longo, George Berard, Elizabeth (Betty) Peters, David Brady, Gerald and Carol Peters, George Brown, Thomas Brown, Frank Brown.

Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 -7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
