Marianne E. Diaz - Age 70, loving wife of John Diaz died unexpectedly Friday at the Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
She was born in E. Boston, May 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph Matthews and Mary Grace (Interbartolo) Matthews and lived in E. Boston before moving to Billerica 43 years ago.
Mrs. Diaz was employed as an Operator for N.E. Telephone for 32 years prior to her retirement 22 years ago.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Diaz is survived by her son, John Diaz Jr. of San Diego, CA; her daughter, Joanne Diaz and her husband Jason Reblando of Chicago, IL and her brother, Michael Matthews of OK.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-7 p.m.
