Marguerite A. Manne – Age 77, wife of the late Joseph V. Manne died peacefully Saturday, July 22 after many years living with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in Boston, April 2, 1946, daughter of the late Daniel and Yolanda (Storella) Dellatto and was raised in the North End of Boston until moving to Billerica 48 years ago.
Marguerite was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family, shopping and playing the lottery. However her most favorite role in life was Nana to her six grandchildren. Marguerite’s entire world was her family and she loved attending the kids sporting and school events where she was never shy to boast about her grandchildren to those around her.
Marguerite is survived by her children, Carla Bragg and her husband Michael, Ann Smith and her husband Scott and Joseph Manne and his wife Melanie all of Billerica and her six grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Michael, Jonathan, Sofia and Olivia, her brother in law Carl and his wife Joyce Manne of Reading, sister in law Anna Porcella and her husband Bob of Billerica and sister in law Carol Dellatto of North Andover and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was sister of the late Ralph Dellatto, John Dellatto and Annette Clark.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 26 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Marguerite’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
