Obituary for Margit T. Thomas
Margit T. Thomas – Age 93, wife of the late Leonard Edward Thomas died Sunday at the Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester with her family at her side.
She was born in Medford, January 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Walter E. and Margit M. (Finnoborg) Johnson and lived in Plymouth before moving to Billerica in 1994.
Margit is survived by her children, Eric Thomas and his wife Jean Marie of Nashua, NH and Sandra Cucinotti and her husband Joe of Brookline, NH and is also survived by her six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 12-1 p.m. with at service to be held at 1 p.m. Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made in Margit’s name to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org or the American Heart Association, www.heart.org
