Obituary for Margaret S. Catyb
Margaret S. ”Sally” (O’Rourke) Catyb, age 77, wife of the late Alley J. Catyb Jr. died unexpectedly Thursday at the Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Breeze, FL from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Boston, February 24, 1935 a daughter of the late Thomas and Sadie (McDonough) O’Rourke and lived in Brighton prior to moving to Billerica in 1955. Mrs. Catyb was a founding member of the Billerica Irish American Club and a very active member of St. Andrew’s Church in North Billerica. She is survived by four sons, Thomas Catyb and his wife Diane of Tewksbury, Alley Catyb and his wife Laura of Dracut, Neal Catyb and his wife Marianne of Navarre, FL and Brad Catyb and his wife Tracy Salk of Billerica; two sisters, Frances Mazzolla of Brighton and Patricia Cairns of Needham; 10 grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Billy, Jimmy, Kailey, Aliyyah, Cory, Ryan, and Connor Catyb and Drew and Dylan Salk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and was the sister of the late Mary Esty. CATYB – Of Billerica, unexpectedly May 31, Margaret S. (O’Rourke) Catyb. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew’s Church N. Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 3 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Boys Town National Headquarters, 200 Flanagan Blvd., PO Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010.
