Obituary for Margaret McMillan
TEWKSBURY Margaret (Murphy) McMillan, age 67, wife of N. Gary McMillan died Saturday at their home.
She was born in Newton, October 30, 1941, daughter of the late Peter Murphy and the late Marguerite (Lewis) (Murphy) ORourke and lived in Billerica and Malden before moving to Tewksbury in 1974.
Mrs. McMillan was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service in Burlington for 17 years retiring in 2002.
Besides her husband she is survived by five sons, Michael Beatty of Merrimack, NH, Scott McMillan of Tewksbury, Christian McMillan of Tewksbury, Edward Sullivan of Lowell and Timothy Sullivan of Methuen; two daughters, Michelle Horan of Billerica and Cathleen Costello of Wilmington; one brother Paul Murphy of Plymouth as well as 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the step daughter of the late Harold ORourke and sister of the late Edward, Robert and William Murphy.
MCMILLAN Of Tewksbury, formerly of Billerica and Malden, Oct. 24, Margaret (Murphy) McMillan wife of N. Gary McMillan. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday in the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
