Obituary for Margaret M. Russell
BILLERICA – Margaret M. (Ewing) Russell, age 94, beloved wife of the late Harold F. Russell died Thursday at Woodbriar Health Center in Wilmington.
She was born in Boston, August 16, 1922 a daughter of the late Henry J. and Margaret L. (Edmonds) Ewing and lived in Burlington before moving to Billerica where she was a resident for over 30 years.
Mrs. Russell proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. during WWII attaining the rank of Corporal but most enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her family including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Robert F. Russell and his wife Maryann of Nashua; four daughters, Patricia Fleury and her husband Philip of SC, Margaret Marrocco and her husband Al of Billerica, Mary Garvin of Lowell and Elizabeth Young and her husband Larry of NC; one sister, Catherine Russell of Burlington as well as 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Peter Russell and sister of the late Francis Ewing, Arthur Ewing, Robert Ewing, Harry Ewing, Mary Westholm and Marion Cataldo.

Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
