Obituary for Margaret G. Pais
BILLERICA – Margaret G. (Ortins) Pais, age 92, beloved wife of Frederick Pais with whom she shared the honor of being Billerica’s longest married couple at the 2015 Sweetheart Valentines Dinner, died Wednesday at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley.
She was born in Peabody, Sept. 2, 1923 a daughter of the late Alexander and Euginia Ortins and lived in Peabody before moving to Billerica 54 years ago.
Mrs. Pais was a Teachers Aide for the Billerica Public Schools and was a former member of the Dracut Lioness Club.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Fred Pais and his wife Eileen of Lunenburg, Robert Pais and his wife Denise of Billerica and Michael Pais of Hookset, NH; six grandchildren, Kirsteen, Karen, Kimberly, Melissa, Jennifer and Kristina as well as three great-granddaughters Taylor, Erin and Anna and one great-grandson Brodie. She was the sister of the late Isolina Pais.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
