Obituary for Madeline L. Sullivan
Madeline L. (Kane) "Gramdogg" Sullivan, 65, a resident of Billerica for the past 41 years, died Monday evening under the care of her familyin Nashua, NH. after a courageous battle with ALS.
She was the wife of the late Philip E. Sullivan.Born in Boston on February 5, 1944, a daughter of the late James B. and Mary M. (Gokey) Kane, she was raised in Brighton and was agraduate of Brighton High School.
She was employed as a cashier for Stop & Shop in North Reading and was recently recognized for her 20 years of commitment. Madeline enjoyed bowling, fishing, roller skating, playing cards and the lottery.
She is survived by her children, Madeline E. Capano of Nashua, NH.,Philip E. "Tiger" Sullivan and his companion Amanda Burris of Pinellas Park, FL., Robert L. Sullivan of Dracut, Edward J. Sullivan and his wife Suanne M. (Potito) of Nashua, and John P. Sullivan of Billerica; three Brothers, Albert J. Kane of Merrimack, NH., Robert J. Kane of Easton and Thomas L. Kane of Easton; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Albert, Kaitlin, Robbie, Edward Jr., and Victoria; nieces and nephews.She was also the sister of the late Richard B. Kane and Peter E. Kane.
Funeral Friday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Fox HillCemetery, Billerica at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
