Obituary for Lynn D. Martin
Lynn D. Martin – Age 66, died peacefully Tuesday at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.
Lynn was born in Charleston, West Virginia, June 16, 1954, a daughter of Jean “Sue” M. (Towse) (Martin) Cook and her husband Bradford R. Cook Sr. of Boynton Beach, FL and the late Bennie A. Martin. She was raised in Billerica and later moved to Somerville and Lowell and lived in Chelmsford for the past four years.
Lynn graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1972 and received her BA degree from the University of Lowell. She was a former employee of College Board, International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, Harvard Public Health and later worked as an Editor at Hampshire College.
Besides her mother and stepfather, Lynn is survived by her sister, Candice Todd and her husband Charlie of Billerica; her brothers, Richard Martin of Kissimmee, FL and Bradford Cook of Lincoln and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
