Lucy A. (DiPietrantonio) Gareri, age 82, died Monday at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell after a period of declining health.
She was born in Cambridge, November 21, 1939 a daughter of the late Mario and Frances (Moscato) DiPietrantonio and was raised in Billerica prior to moving to Lowell and more recently Chelmsford.
Lucy is survived by her sons, Joseph Gareri of Chelmsford and Daniel Gareri of Hudson, NH; her daughter, Judy Lumbert of Palm Beach Gardens, FL: her brother, Eric DiPietrantonio of Mansfield; her sisters, Marilyn Centorino of Mansfield and Janice McPeck of Marshfield as well as six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mark and Mario DiPietrantonio and Carol Sullivan.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with a Graveside Service to be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
