Obituary for Louise M. Mayer
Louise M. Mayer, Age 89, wife of the late Edward A. Mayer died peacefully Tuesday at the Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford.
She was born in New Bedford, January 8, 1931, a daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Huber) Kruger and was raised in New Bedford and Fairhaven having moved to Billerica in 1961.
Louise was once employed as a Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their home on Lake Winnisquam. The family would like to thank the staff at Carlton-Willard Village for the love and care they gave to Louise during her stay there.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Cathy-Ann Accomando and her husband Robert of Billerica, Sue Mayer of Bedford and Paula Krochune and her husband Russell also of Billerica; her son, Christopher Mayer and his wife AnnMarie of Pelham, NH and her beloved grandchildren, Tamara O’Donnell and Nicole and Eric Mayer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Loving sister of the late Paul Kruger Jr. and Rosalyn Cormier.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Per current CDC and State Guidelines face coverings will be required at all venues and attendees must sign up at https://cli.re/ccb-funeral-signup
Burial will take place at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carleton-Willard Village Employee Appreciation Fund, 100 Old Billerica Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
